Hello Everyone!

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday break and is excited about the new year.

Unlike many people, I have not made any new year’s resolutions, save the same one I made last year – I resolve to make no new year’s resolutions.
Strange as that may be, I find it counterproductive to make them as past experience has taught me that they are often made from a place of wanting and lofty expectations that may not be based on what is really best for me, but more so, on other people’s expectations of what I need to change.
I live my life in the present – the “now” as Eckhart Tolle writes about. Past experience has taught me that I have lived most of my life looking back, or looking up ahead, but never looking where I “AM.” Last year, I finally began living my life in the now and made it about “BE-ing” as opposed to “DO-ing.”

The more I got in touch with what I am all about, the more doors began to open for me, and the more things showed up for me.
The music, the acting, the co-writing credit, the movie, the 9 weeks I made it though the Undiscoverd competition, all showed up for me last year.

So I am incredibly excited to see what is next!

As for upcoming events, I will be performing on January 30th, for a local fundraiser.
There is also the Stollery Fundraiser in April.
I will post more details as soon as I have the finalized information.

There is also more studio time coming up for me – I’m so excited!
So, to open up the new year, I am wishing everyone of you a wonderful new year!
